James Cook University announces scholarship for Indian students

New Delhi: Students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad may bag a chance to secure lucrative scholarship for studying in famous James Cook University Singapore (JCUS), an overseas campus of the Australia’s James Cook University.

The scholarship tests will be held in four major cities of the country; Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata. In Delhi, the exam will be held at IIT campus on 22nd April, 2012.  The test will be conducted between 10 am to 12 noon.

Students with 60% above in 12th Standard/Bachelor Degree can enroll for the test. Aspirants would be required to answer the Scholarship Test Question Paper designed by James Cook University’s academic staffs in a combination of English and Aptitude component in general. The questions will cover topics like Antonyms, Sentence Completion; Mathematics based questions and Questions on General Knowledge.

50% to 55 % of the participants will get the scholarship and ranges up to 50% of Master’s Degree & Bachelor’s Degree Course fee i.e around 6 Lacs approx. for Masters Degree & approx 9 lacs for Bachelor’s degree. The lucky candidates, who bag the scholarship will also get a discount in their tuition fee amount in their choice of program be it Business, IT, Hospitality, or Psychology both at UG as well as PG level.

There are no Negative marks for any wrong answers and evaluation will be based on work out for right answers in the adjacent side of particular questions.
