FEEL bags four World Education Congress 2012 awards

The Lonavala based Institute for Future Education, Entrepreneurship and Leadership (iFEEL) was felicitated with 4 awards at the World Education Congress held in Mumbai on 29th June 2012 at the Taj Lands End.

In the ‘institution category’ iFEEL received 3 awards at the event for ‘Best Value for Money B-School’, ‘Youngest B-School with Innovation Lab & Global Connect’ and ‘Young B-School with Best Residential Campus’. In the individual category, iFEEL’s student Mr. Sandeep Kumar received with the award for the ‘Best Student in Operations with Global perspective’. Dr. H.S. Cheema, Dean of iFEEL collected the award on his behalf.

Dr. H.S. Cheema, who was present at the award ceremony along with the faculty and students of iFEEL commented on the awards saying “Its an extremely proud moment for all of us at iFEEL to be recognized by a prestigious body like World Education Congress. iFEEL is a young institute and such awards only reinforce our belief in the work that we do to ensure that our students receive world class educational facilities. It’s a great motivation for our students as well because they can proudly state that they study in an award-winning institute. Its definitely been a memorable day for all of us.”

On hearing the news about the award win for ‘Best Student in Operations with Global perspective’, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, who is currently interning with Siemens in Germany shared, “It’s a great feeling to be pitted against some of the best brains in the country and to emerge as the winner. The nomination procedure was extremely stringent and the competition in each category was tough. I feel a great sense of achievement because not only did we win in the individual category but the institute itself was awarded in 3 different categories. So its 4 cheers for iFEEL!”

The World Education Congress Global Awards celebrate excellence in education, leadership and teaching and recognize institutions and individuals with the best talent and the highest standards. An independent jury comprising of imminent professionals selects the winners after a stringent nomination process where each entry is evaluated thoroughly basis numerous supporting facts and documents for validation. The World Education Congress was held in Mumbai on 29th and 30th June 2012 on the theme “Evolving trends in Education” to discuss how education can help to develop skills, facilitate personal excellence and well being in the challenging times we face today.
