Hyderabad: Next Education India Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading E-learning Technology companies in India has received the World Education Award which was presented during the World Summit 2012 held in New Delhi on Tuesday.
The award was presented by Union Minister for Tourism, Subodh Kant Sahay at a glittering awards ceremony on Monday evening. Subroto Roy, VP, Next Education, received the award on behalf of the company.
With over 100 participant companies from across the globe, Next Education emerged as one of the promising companies to win the prestigious award for its exemplary product, TeachNext.
Judging was carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of 13 experts covering every aspect of the Education segment and public voting through social media tools.
TeachNext is an E-learning solution which offers advanced interactive tools and virtual activities to ensure that the teacher is able to explain and illustrate concepts using life-like animations & engrossing voice-overs. The company has invested millions of man-hours to create in excess of 10,000 learning modules that account for more than 1,000 hours of classroom teaching in the K12 segment. Each of the modules has been created by the company’s in-house content development team.

The World Education Awards have been instituted with the aim of felicitating and acknowledging unique and innovative initiatives in the field of education globally. They were given away during the World Education Summit 2012 which was held at New Delhi on 23th and 24th July 2012.
